Natasha Roldan

Colombian-Canadian singer-songwriter Natasha Roldán travels with her voice through the landscapes of Latin American folk, jazz, and traditional Colombian rhythms with an alternative touch.

Her new album "Ya No Estoy Aquí" shares stories about migration, revolution, and love, weaving emotionally poignant narratives that invite reflection on the search for freedom, self-love, and resistance. The delicacy of her voice carries a monumental strength, that with each word, paints familiar landscapes for migrants who, after attending her intimate concerts, often tell her, "You made me cry".​

FreeStyle Dance

Free Style dance  is directed by Helen Rojas, a proud Colombian teacher of Arts Education pedagogy.

With more than 16 years of experience in cultural artistic training in urban and Latin dance, this academy began in Canada in 2023 and is made up of members from the age of 5 and up of different nationalities who today showcase the talent of Latino and Canadian children, with a lot of flow.

​For two consecutive years, they have been champions in competitions such as Starctachersn and Be Dance in Canada as the only Latin teams.

Ballet Folklorico Puro México

Ballet Folklorico Puro México is a non-for-profit Mexican dance company founded in May 2003. It is currently under the Direction of Rosy García and Martín Contreras.

Puro México Ballet works tirelessly to promote Mexican folklore in Ontario.
The organization keeps striving to promote Mexican cultural diversity in Canada by creating a space in which Mexican immigrants, as well as Canadian-born Mexicans, can reconnect with their roots.​

Salsa & Sabor

Founded in 2020, Salsa & Sabor is a Colombian dance academy based in Toronto, dedicated to promoting authentic Colombian dance styles across Canada. Their mission is to connect, inspire, and engage people who are passionate about learning and experiencing the vibrant rhythms of Latin dance.

El Ceibo

Founded in 2019 by director and percussionist Patricio Llovet, El Ceibo (pronounced "Elle Seh-ee-boh") is a dynamic Argentinian folk music group that has brought their captivating blend of tradition and innovation to Canadian stages. Featuring an ensemble of guitars, charango, vocals, violin, and percussion (bombo legüero and caja chayera), they seamlessly weave together the rich tapestry of Argentinian musical textures with jazz harmonic and rhythmic explorations and a chamber music approach to performances.

El Ceibo's music is a captivating journey for audiences of all backgrounds. Their self-released EP showcases their distinctive style, propelling them to prominent radio stations like CBC Radio 1 and Jazz FM. This acclaim has translated into performances at prestigious events and venues, including the Toronto Jazz Festival and the Living Arts Centre, where they often share insights into the rich cultural context and history behind their music and instruments.

A group made up of professional musicians with a select repertoire for all musical genres, including bachata, refeton, salsa, cumbia, bolero, and more. This group features backing tracks, the instruments we've been playing live, providing a better sound and diversity when playing live

Sentir Venezuela

Sentir Venezuela is a non-profit organisation that wants to express, promote and encourage interest in Venezuelan customs and traditions in Canada, through Venezuelan folk dance. It was founded on August 6 2014 by Francis Gotopo (Executive Director), Dayris Rodriguez (Finances Director) and Carla Soto (Artistic Director). After many years, Toronto was lacking of a professional Venezuelan dance troop.

Raices de Chilena

Toronto-based Raíces de Chile (or “Chilean Roots” from its Spanish translation) represents the new generation of Grupo Chile, an established dance troupe that has been a part of the Toronto scene for nearly two decades.
“Raices” (pronounced ‘rah-ee-sas’) was formed by Monica Salvo, long-time Chilean folklore teacher and Grupo Chile founder, who, upon her return to Canada from Chile, identified a need to revive the Chilean folk dancing scene.“Raices” showcases Chilean dances of two main regions of Chile: Central Region and Easter Island, an island and special territory of Chile in the southeastern Pacific Ocean.

Cumbia Power nació con el propósito de compartir el espíritu de la cumbia y el calor de los ritmos latinos en Canadá. Cada uno de nuestros diez músicos aporta su pasión y experiencia para crear un sonido auténtico que invita a bailar y celebrar. Con instrumentos como trompetas, timbales, batería, bajo, guitarra eléctrica, güiro, piano y congas, logramos un ambiente lleno de vida en cada presentación. Nuestra meta es unir a las personas y llevar un pedacito de cultura latina a cada escenario
